You will probably agree that time changes, less daylight, political events, increased health challenges, the holidays, and whatever else is on your proverbial plate make it not-so-easy to keep stress levels down. Yet you’d probably also agree that almost no time is as “chill” as we’d like.

Why does it matter whether we live with high or low levels of stress?
Without going into a Neuro-nerd diatribe, the greater our stress levels, the more our systems shift into short-term survival mode, affecting everything from what hormones cycle in our blood to our breathing patterns, sleep cycles, digestion, Cortical function, even the makeup of our saliva.

I LOVE quick, effective strategies that work! Luckily there are plenty of them to help us keep stress in check, even in a nutty world. We can have a huge effect on our own well-being, which affects how we relate to the events we cannot control.

Here in the Being In Motion blog I will be offering little Neuro tricks for self-support, making the vast world of Neurology directly relevant, tangible, and embodied. Please share with your friends.

In my weekly classes, we go into greater depth – through a whole range of practices, you discover what’s working well and what’s not – and how to repair what’s a little bit “broken.” Most important, you learn
how to sort out which techniques are most effective for you, since there is no “one size fits all.”
Come try out a brain-body fitness class (first class free) and find out how much better life can be.

Stay tuned…here come the tips!
